Established in 2012 by Bill Trick, Jackson Wallace, and Greg Wood, IMS was built on the principles of faith, family and integrity. From humble beginnings working on apartment complexes in college to operating a thriving purpose-driven development company, our leadership team has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to service.

Bill Trick
CEO
As co-founder of IMS Communities, Bill Trick excels in building strong relationships that drive the company’s success. With decades of experience in real estate, he has consistently raised the standards of excellence in the industry. Bill concentrates on equity partnerships, funding, and land procurement, leveraging his broad expertise in developing apartment communities, single-family homes, offices, and retail spaces. Bill began his real estate career while still in college, eventually co-founding The Advantage Realty Group in 1981. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Real Estate from The University of Alabama. 
 
Outside of work, Bill is passionate about paying it forward and living an intentional, joy-filled life. Originally from Northern Indiana, he has spent most of his life in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He and his wife Sherri have been married for over 50 years and are the proud parents of Betsy and Grant and grandparents of Cole and Caleb. 
H. Jackson Wallace, CPM, CAM
President & COO – Development
With over 27 years of experience, Jackson Wallace is a proven leader in the multifamily industry. As Principal at IMS Communities, he oversees all facets of development, from site selection to construction management. He expertly navigates the complexities of the field and finds fulfillment in leading and stewarding teams. Jackson’s career began as an undergraduate at The University of Alabama, where he worked as a groundskeeper in a student housing community, gaining hands-on experience in property management. His wide-ranging development experience led to his long-standing position at IMS Communities. 
 
Outside of work, Jackson is an avid golfer and passionate car collector. He holds a BS in Accounting from The University of Alabama and a prestigious Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), where he previously served as President of the local chapter. He is a member of the Alabama Center for Real Estate’s Leadership Council. Originally from Eufaula, Alabama, Jackson is married to Penni, and together they have three children–Thomas, Alex, and Ann Isabel–and two Cavanese pups, Sophie and Phoebe.
B. Greg Wood, Jr., CAM
President & COO – Management
As Principal at IMS Communities, Greg Wood expertly leads the company’s property management operations. Additionally, he participates in site selection and cultivates relationships with equity sources for new developments. With a passion for leading teams and solving complex challenges, Greg thrives in the ever-evolving development field. His professional journey began at The University of Alabama, where he worked as a groundskeeper while completing his undergraduate studies in Business Management. This early, hands-on experience laid the groundwork for his career. With roles as a leasing agent, manager, regional manager, and COO, he gained expertise in all facets of the multifamily industry.
 
A devoted family man and community member, Greg spends his leisure time nurturing his golf game and weight lifting. A native of Tuscaloosa, he and his wife Kelsey have three children: Lincoln, Beckham, and Milly. 
Keith Jones
Principal/Partner, IMS Communities

At IMS Communities, Keith Jones manages construction operations and personnel, ensuring the successful completion of company projects. As Principal and Partner, Keith collaborates with the team in the pre-development stages, focusing on site selection and budget planning. His leadership philosophy is rooted in the belief that the team is a family, working together to achieve common goals.

 

His construction career began in high school, and he quickly rose through the ranks to jobsite superintendent and project manager/estimator roles. Before joining IMS Communities, Keith completed large-scale multifamily and big box store construction projects across the Southeast. His deep experience in student housing includes constructing the Kappa Kappa Gamma and Kappa Delta sorority houses at The University of Alabama. Aside from work, Keith enjoys playing golf and traveling with his family. Born in Mentor, Ohio, Keith considers Tuscaloosa, Alabama, his adopted hometown but remains a devoted Cleveland Browns fan. He is married to Mandy, and they have three sons: Will, Mason, and John Houston.
